8mm-1/4 BSPT Cutting Ring Coupling
Brass coupling designed to be screwed onto a metal pipe (e.g., copper, steel, brass) with an outer diameter of Ø8 mm.
At the other end of the coupling, there is a 1/4 BSPT thread.
The housing of the coupling is made of brass.
You can screw the coupling onto a pipe with an outer diameter of 8 mm.
At the other end, you can screw on another coupling with a 1/4 (internal) thread, such as a screw-on coupling with PTC for 8 mm hose (see related products).
Note: Cutting ring coupling should only be screwed onto metal pipes.
Not suitable for plastic tubing!
Abbreviations and Definitions:
- Cutting Ring Coupling: A coupling that uses a ring to clamp onto a pipe/tube when the ring is tightened with a nut.
- Ø8 mm: Outer diameter is 8 millimetres.
- BSPT: British Standard Pipe Tapered, also known as gas thread. (Tapered = conical)
